Courses & support · online and face to face

Find the right kind of support

Courses and ongoing support for students, individuals, parents, educators and workplace leaders, delivered face to face or self-paced online depending on what works best for each group, drawn from the same material I use in person.

Who it's for

Find the right course for you

Pick your group, then, where there is a choice, pick in person or self-directed online. This list will keep growing, so if the exact course you need is not here yet, join the waiting list and ask.

Practical, subject-agnostic skills for students themselves, from primary through to exam years. Best face to face, and can be offered at school during school hours where appropriate.

  • Attention, concentration and self-regulation, for children
  • Attention, concentration and getting started, for secondary students
  • Study skills for secondary aged students
  • Dyslexia: preparing to answer GCSE long questions
  • Dyslexia basics: reading, writing and spelling. An intensive course, best delivered two to three times a week
  • ADHD and exam preparation
  • Preparing an exam study schedule

For neurodivergent adults navigating their own work, study or a recent diagnosis. Self-directed online.

  • Workplace strategy: navigating your own job
  • Self-advocacy: asking for what you need
  • Post-diagnosis: what happens now

Would rather work through this with me directly? One to one coaching covers the same ground, in person or online.

For understanding what is happening, what to do about it, and how to get through the harder days. Best face to face.

Any of these can be requested as an informal coffee morning at a local coffee shop, for a small group rather than one to one. The biggest support for a parent of a neurodivergent child is usually other parents of neurodivergent children, and these mornings are built around that.

  • Reading the early signs, before a diagnosis
  • Help, my child has a diagnosis
  • Understanding the educational psychologist's report

  • How to get your child ready to study
  • Building in routines
  • Developing self-regulation skills
  • Fun shared learning activities with no screen time
  • What to do on a bad day

  • What can and should schools offer, and how can I help
  • Understanding recommendations, accommodations and exam access arrangements
  • Choosing a school for my neurodivergent child
  • School, or home school?
  • Setting up and running home schooling
  • Supporting your child through school transitions

These work best face to face, in your own classroom or staff room, so every course in this track is delivered in person rather than as a download.

  • Common inclusion needs in your class, explained simply
  • Actionable strategies that work for your inclusion students, and everyone, from day one
  • Gathering assessment evidence for exam access arrangements
  • Talking with parents, well

For managers handling a specific situation now, and leaders building a longer-term inclusive workplace.

  • An employee has disclosed a diagnosis, what do I do?
  • An employee has asked for adjustments, what do I do?

  • Being a neurodivergent leader or manager
  • Neurodivergent support for leaders in business
  • Keeping the employees you found
  • Getting the best out of everyone
  • The incredible value of employing neurodivergent talent
How the courses work

Built for people who have no spare time

  • Short modules.
  • Captioned throughout. Transcripts for every video, and slides that can be read on their own.
  • Downloadable workbooks. Print them, write on them, take them into a meeting.
  • Self-paced. No live sessions to miss and no cohort to keep up with.
  • Lifetime access. Come back to a module when the situation changes, because it will.
  • Team pricing. Whole-school and whole-team rates for organisations.

In your school, in school hours

I fit around your week, not the other way round

Every track can be delivered in person at a school in Dubai instead of taken online. For student sessions that means running them inside the school day, so neither you nor your child has to find the time somewhere else.

For a lot of neurodivergent students, being in a familiar room with a person sitting opposite them makes learning and engagement far easier than a screen does. Face to face is often the difference between a session that lands and one that is simply got through.

I arrange the timetable directly with the school, so there is nothing for you to organise.

  • Delivered at the school, anywhere in Dubai
  • Scheduled inside the school day
  • No evening appointments and no weekend traffic
  • Nothing extra to fit around work or siblings
  • Your child stays in a setting they already know
  • Arranged with the school directly, not through you

Questions

Questions about the courses

The courses themselves are self-paced and online: short video lessons plus a workbook you work through in your own time. If you would rather a track was delivered live to a group, that can run in person at a school or workplace in the UAE, or online for a team anywhere. Tell me which you want when you get in touch.

Nikki Mitchell LLC is registered in the UAE, though the courses are not tied to a location. Once a track is live you access it online from wherever you are, and live, in-person delivery for a school or workplace is available anywhere in the UAE.

Course pricing has not been published yet, since the parent and educator tracks are still in development. Whole-school and whole-team rates will be available for organisations, and everyone on the waiting list gets early access pricing before the courses go public. Joining the list costs nothing.

The parent and educator tracks are being built now. Join the waiting list and tell me which track you want, and you will hear the moment it opens, with early access pricing reserved for the list.

Yes. Whole-school and whole-team rates are available, and any track can be delivered live, in person at a school or workplace in the UAE, or online for a group anywhere.

The self-paced tracks are still in development, so joining the waiting list is the fastest way in: you will be first to know when one opens. If you want a live session for your school or team sooner than that, get in touch and an initial conversation is usually available within a week.
